Sales Negotiator - North West (East)

PURPOSE OF JOB

To achieve sales targets in accordance with the requirements laid down by the company.

To be responsible for the administration of the sales site and liaising with purchases/prospective purchases and estate agents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working Times

  • To ensure the sales centre is fully open according to current company policy.
  • (Full time) to be available for duty at Weekends, Bank Holidays and for key selling times and events.
  • (Part time) to be available to cover sickness, holidays, key selling times and events.
  • To attend sales meetings, training and meetings as directed.

Presentation

  • Site signage, directional signs
  • Tidiness of working area
  • Show home landscape maintenance
  • Show home cleaning
  • Sales offices displays
  • Internal show home signage

 Selling

  • Achieve target sales and prices
  • Greeting and qualifying visitors
  • Recording customer information
  • Customer follow up
  • Price negotiation
  • Promotional activities
  • Checking advertising for position and accuracy

Reporting

  • Weekly and monthly reporting

Administration

  • Market research and competitor analysis
  • Maintain customer enquiry database
  • Record customer details at reservation
  • Complete and distribute all documentation as required
  • Track and record sales progress in contact with Estate Agents, Lenders, Brokers and Solicitors
  • Keep and record good weekly communication with customers regarding build and sales progress
  • Deal with all customer communication and liaison with the construction and regional office teams

Safety

  • Work carefully at all times to maximise the safety of customers and colleagues adhering to safety regulations, policy and procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Experience in a selling experience environment, preferably within the house building industry/estate agents

Proven sales skills evidenced by meeting sales targets in previous position

Broad product knowledge of the housing market

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Computer literate

Self-starter

Ability to work unsupervised and to follow procedures

Attention to detail

Team player

Flexible, tactful and diplomatic

IT skills- Outlook, Word, Excel
